The series features consuls of Great Britain, Denmark, Germany, Hawaii, the Netherlands, Peru and the United States based mainly in China and Hong Kong, but also in Hawaii, Japan and Sourabaya. There are some documents in Danish, Dutch, French, Hawaiian and Portuguese.
